The Public Libraries have an important role in the development of the future e-Europe, the Digitalization of the cultural heritage (along with Museums and Archives) and in the Education of Citizens for the usage of the modern computers technologies. The role of Public Libraries is more and more reduced on spreading the Information and the Knowledge (Learning trough Libraries) and on grouping a huge number of users. In the Countries of the European Union, and European countries in general, for a long time, are organized different projects, in the domain of the Work of Public Libraries. The Project PULMAN XT is the first project of this kind in which Serbia is taking part.
