The Network of Spanish Documentation Centers and Libraries of Women was created in 1994 and at the present time it is formed by 37 units specialized in information on the woman. The network is a very heterogenous set of specialized libraries and documentation centers that does not depend on any concrete administrative organism and that is based on the desire of its members in cooperating and combining efforts within the informative frame for which they have been created.
