Acimed, the Cuban Journal of Health Information and Communication Professionals is an electronic product since 1993. Nevertheless, added value services associated to an advance digital journal are lacking. Aimed at developing an integral system for journals management comprising the time period from the acceptation of papers to postpublication services are exposed with some item for each steps and some options considered in the design of new management system from the perspective of an electronic arbitrage agency.
