At the moment every year more than two million articles related to the investigation are published and 25 to 30 % of them contain information on medicines. It is well-known that all the medicines, without concerning their therapeutic action, can cause collateral effects or the denominated adverse effects in dependency of the circumstances in that they are administered. An overview of the situation of this kind of articles in Cuba is presented.
