The National Library of Science and Technology (BNCT) was founded on 1988 with the objective to hoard the scientific and technic information of Cuba and the world. It is located in the left section of the National Capitol, includes an approximated extension of 4000 linear ms and has more than 500 000 documents. The importance has made meditate about the imperative of its preservation and maintenance, because it constitutes inexhaustible source of the human knowledge.
