The economic resources more and more limited of most of the countries, because of the economic recession that suffer from the decade of the years 80, plus with the elevation of the costs of the services of health without the consequent one and waited for increase of their quality, are the elements that have determined the economic necessity of the use of the theories and techniques in the sector of the health, and that have given rise to a new discipline, the Economy of the health, which can be useful in the decision making from the health policies established by the governments.
