The organization of the publishing work from the institutionalization in the country of the Cuban Institute of Book, has been a subject controverted enough. However, the search of guidelines to perfect the work of the publishing industry, demands serious and systematic studies that they make possible to break traditional schemes and methods, as well as to surpass limitations. This work sets out to expose the experiences acquired during a long period in the National Center of Scientific researches, in the application of a methodology that was denominated Article Database and that facilitates the edition process of scientist-techniques serials. It concludes that its application would make possible to give a qualitative jump in the organization of the work and that is an option that could contribute to make more efficient the publishing process of this type of publications in the publishing network of the Ministry of High Education.
