The American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIST) is the leading professional association for these Fields in USA. In this Paper, One can find the summary of the primary activities of the Society, its the present mission and the vision of the development, its short history, the list of its main publications/editions, the basical forms of the continuing education offered by the ASIST, the preview of electronic resources and different forms of membership.
