The information resources management is the segment of the  information management in charge of the operation, development and optimization of the resources of information in benefit of the goals and objectives of the organizations. This work presents the main results of the application of the methodology designed by Burk and Horton, in the identification of the corporative resources of information of the areas destined to the services in the National Library of Science and Technology (BNCT).
