From a point of view of the planning and prefeasibility, the article analyzes and describes three aspects that the archivist must consider in one first approach to the idea of a project of University Archive, raising with clarity to the university authorities before raising the definitive project. These aspects are: first, the technical subject in the archivist context, proposing the deposit as departure point in the design and construction of the archive; second, the relation that is due to cause between the archive and the organization to harmonize employees + procedures of work + documentation + organization, obtaining as a result better communication and coordination in the execution of the project and the future development of the archive; and finally the financing, analyzing the investments to budget and the costs to cover in the implantation of the project.
