The term documentation center is certainly in disuse, preferring information service. Another aspect that have affected of direct way the management and organization of works, services and resources of all the organizations that work with information, have been the incorporation of the technologies of the information (Automatization, networks, Internet) that have changed to the dimension of the services and the impact in the users.
