Review of: Maria Guercio, "Archivistica informatica : i documenti in ambiente digitale".
In the framework of Italian professional literature, the book we're presenting treats for the first time in an organic way the themes of electronic documentation management and of the design of automated information systems with Mariella Guercio's experience and authority; she boasts a long career as state archivist, an intense training activity and since 1998 at the University of Urbino she has been teaching archive-keeping, automated archives management and theory and techiques of sorting and of archival description and she participated and participates to national and international commissions and workgroups.
