In an era of technological changes such as the present one, decision making by the librarian concerning materials provided for the users is a difficult task. This article emphasises that the library must help the user make effective use of new technologies by providing information in different formats – printed, audio, video, electronic. To this end, users' individual learning styles and user surveys' results must be taken into account.
