The incursion of new supports of the information; the relation between Bibliotecas Departamentales and the Dirección General de Bibliotecas de la UNAM; and the necessity to establish policies and directives for the selection, the acquisition, the organization, the storage and the consultation of the electronic book, it gives as result the creation of the Electronic Book Committee, that it is defined in this comunication.
