The present document is divided in five areas: first related to the evaluation from the origins, definition, objectives and the evaluation within the librarians; the second is related with the intention of study, user, also the different types from users within the university community; third aspect descriptive of data base SERIUNAM, its origin and different stages in the technological development. The last section is the study of satisfaction of the users.
