English abstract

This paper presents the Wiki Camilo service (developed with the MediaWiki software), an online tool for managing information that gathers and provides a set of data whose information is deemed relevant to the operation and mission of Casa de Camilo Museum. Studies Center (Seide, Portugal). This Web 2.0 technology is presented as support to meet the information needs of the community in the study and dissemination of the life and work of the writer Camilo Castelo Branco (1825-1890), and putting the assets constituting the house-museum writer. Through Wiki aims to extend the concept of collection to library collections inserted in house-museum, looking for value the concept of integral information system that covers the entire bottom of the institution. It will be a brief discussion of the challenges being faced in building, creating and editing the contents of the Wiki, including the issue of sharing of information and the possibility of community collaboration in the construction of the same. The active participation of the community, capitalizing on the personal opinions of the readers and Camilo knowledge of researchers in the area, Camille transforms Wiki into one for the collective knowledge of the life and work of the writer repository.

Esta comunicação apresenta o serviço Wiki Camilo (desenvolvido com o software MediaWiki), uma ferramenta online de gestão da informação que reúne e disponibiliza um conjunto de dados cuja informação é considerada relevante para o funcionamento e para a missão da Casa de Camilo-Museu. Centro de Estudos (Seide, Portugal). Esta tecnologia da Web 2.0 é apresentada enquanto suporte para satisfazer as necessidades de informação à comunidade no estudo e divulgação da vida e obra do escritor Camilo Castelo Branco (1825-1890), e no dar a conhecer o património que constitui a casa-museu do escritor. Através do Wiki pretende-se alargar a noção de coleção às coleções da biblioteca inserida na casa-museu, procurando valorizar o conceito de sistema de informação integral que abrange todo o fundo da instituição. Faz-se uma breve reflexão sobre os desafios que se enfrenta na construção, criação e edição dos conteúdos do Wiki, nomeadamente sobre a questão da partilha de informação e a possibilidade de colaboração da comunidade na construção da mesma. A participação ativa da comunidade, capitalizando as opiniões pessoais dos leitores de Camilo e o conhecimento dos investigadores da área, transforma o Wiki Camilo num repositório único para o conhecimento coletivo sobre a vida e a obra do escritor.
