English abstract

Between late 2009 and early 2010, the Libraries of Sciences the University of Padua started a project focused on loan of laptop computers in libraries. This report aims to describe the genesis and organization of the project and to reconsider the service five years fron the beginning.

Tra la fine del 2009 e l'inizio del 2010 il Polo Bibliotecario di Scienze dell'Università di Padova ha avviato un progetto di prestito di computer portatili nelle biblioteche. Questa lavoro ha l'obiettivo di descrivere genesi e organizzazione di questa iniziativa e di fare un bilancio del servizio a circa cinque dall'avvio.
