English abstract

The purpose of this manual is to document and make known the methodology used for the documentary analysis in Clase and Periodica databases. It contains instructions for the registration of the information input to standardize and organize their collections and ensure quality control of information that enters the databases. Clase and Periódica are bibliographic databases specialized in Latin American journals produced by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Spanish abstract

El objetivo de este Manual es documentar y dar a conocer la metodología que se utiliza para el análisis documental en las bases de datos Clase y Periódica. Contiene las instrucciones para el registro de la información que se ingresa, con el objetivo de normalizar y organizar sus acervos y asegurar el control de calidad de la información que ingresa a las bases de datos. Clase y Periódica son bases de datos bibliográficas especializadas en revistas académicas latinoamericanas y son producidas por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
