English abstract

The present article brings the most important historical facts that mark the development of the Library of Musical Arts, from its beginnings to the year 2017, emphasizing in the changes, personalities that sponsored its beginnings and growth, as well as in those decisions that have allowed the library to develop smoothly during the history period treated.

Spanish abstract

El presente artículo brinda los principales hechos históricos que marcan el desarrollo de la Biblioteca de Artes Musicales, desde sus inicios hasta el año 2017, enfatizando en los cambios, personas que apadrinaron su desarrollo y crecimiento; así como en aquellas decisiones que han permitido que la biblioteca se desarrolle fluidamente durante el período histórico abarcado.
