Abstract(s)
Information technology has been incorporated to the library systems. The application of these technologies in libraries allows the development of new processes and services that facilitate the management and access to information, portals are consider one of these new paradigms. This article explains the use of portals as a tool for retrieving information in libraries.
La tecnología de la información se ha incorporado a los sistemas bibliotecarios. El uso de estas tecnologías en bibliotecas permite el desarrollo de nuevos servicios y procesos que facilitan la administración, los portales se consideran uno de estos nuevos paradigmas. Este artículo explica el uso de los portales como herramienta para la recuperación de información en bibliotecas.
