English abstract

The facilities and services provided by Acimed to their contributors and readers in general are approached aimed at reducing the time they should spent and the effort they should make to publish their papers in this magazine, especially, the bibliographic assistance and the virtual reference service in library science and in information sciences, recently created and directed by pregraduate and postgraduate students in the information sciences area.

Se abordan las facilidades y servicios que provee Acimed a sus contribuyentes y lectores en general, con el objetivo de reducir el tiempo y el esfuerzo que ellos deben emplear para realizar sus publicaciones en la revista, en especial, el Servicio de asistencia bibliográfica y referencia virtual en Bibliotecología y Ciencias de la Información , creado recientemente y dirigido a estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado en el área de las ciencias de la información.
