English abstract

The article provides an overview of the initiatives that are being developed in the public library of Montbau, in Barcelona. The objective is to explain how its speciality (mystery novels) is promoted. The documents (books, reviews, dvd’s), the club of reading, the guided walks in the city and the creation and development of one blog are the elements that compose this project that already has been operating during the past four years.

Se explican las iniciativas llevadas a cabo en la biblioteca pública de Montbau para potenciar su especialidad: el género negro. El fondo documental, el club de lectura, los itinerarios guiados por la ciudad y el diseño y desarrollo de un blog son los elementos que forman parte de este proyecto que ya lleva cuatro años en funcionamiento.
