English abstract

The topic of complex concepts, represented by single-word or multi-word terms, was treated in the Thesaurus of Nuovo soggettario. The decision of splitting multi-word terms is often difficult and subjective. Many multi-word terms, which were in the old work tools (Soggettario and Liste di aggiornamento), were splitted. We have applied the rule of ISO 2788 and some other work-tools. The representation of complex concepts is realised by a combination of two or more terms. The equivalence relationship between the preferred terms and their corresponding non preferred term (multi-word term) is admitted with the tags USE+ and UF+.

Nel Thesaurus del Nuovo soggettario è stata affrontata la problematica della scomposizione dei termini composti. I criteri della norma ISO 2788/1986 sono stati ulteriormente integrati. Molti termini del vecchio strumento (Soggettario 1956 suoi aggiornamenti) sono stati scomposti. Tra termini derivanti da scomposizione e precedenti forme composte, sono creati legami identificati dalle sigle UF+ e USE+.
