English abstract

University libraries: how to imagine their change (and how to manage it!) University libraries are facing with deep innovations. Some approaches coming from management theories can orient libraries in their effort towards a management of the change. Scenario Planning and Theory of Chaos are being discussed, with the aim of outlining a new possible organizational structure, able to face this challenge.

Le biblioteche universitarie stanno affrontando un periodo di grande innovazione. Alcuni approcci provenienti dalle teorie del management possono orientare le biblioteche nel loro sforzo di gestione del cambiamento. Lo "Scenario Planning" e la "Teoria del Caos" vengono discussi al fine di proporre una possibile nuova modalità organizzativa in grado di far fronte a questa sfida.
