English abstract

This article is a presentation of the bibliographic references management open source applications. After a short general exposition of the differences between commercial and open source solutions, the author analyzes some of the open source system types used in libraries. It is explained, then, the role and the functioning way of a bibliographic references management solution, exemplifying on Wikindx, considered to be the most advanced and used this kind of system.

Articolul face o incursiune in universul programelor informatice open source de gestiune a referintelor bibliografice. Dupa o scurta prezentare generala a diferentelor dintre solutiile comerciale si cele open source, articolul enumera cateva din tipurile de sisteme open source utilizate in lumea info-documentara. Apoi, este explicat rolul si modul de functionare al unul program de gestiune a referintelor bibliografice cu exemplificare pe Wikindx, considerat cel mai avansat si mai utilizat astfel de sistem.
