English abstract

With the continuous development of new technologies has been elected the value and the usefulness of treasures in the field of information retrieval. Thus, more informative organisms internationally constitutes treasures and more information services adopt or adapt treasures for the support of thematic access in the material that they allocates. The National Centre of Documentation made a first step for the creation of proportional infrastructure in the Greek libraries with the growth of Treasure of Greek Terms. In this presentation is given the modern picture of treasures and are approached questions of structure, presentation and use in the light of the experience that was acquired at the creation of Treasure of Greek Terms, and in the light of international developments, as these are reflected in the revisions of directives of constitution and growth of treasures. More concretely, are studied individual operations that are today technically feasible (as pilotage via hyper-links, techniques of search, extension of question, interoperability) and aim in the most optimal attribution of retrieval system that is based on treasure, independent from the degree of familiarization of final user with the system. At the same time is examined the way with which this operations shape, direct or indirect, concrete methods of layout and presentation of treasure.

Με τη συνεχή εξέλιξη των νέων τεχνολογιών έχει πλέον αναδειχθεί η αξία και η χρησιμότητα των θησαυρών στο πεδίο της ανάκτησης πληροφοριών. Έτσι, όλο και περισσότεροι πληροφοριακοί οργανισμοί διεθνώς συγκροτούν θησαυρούς και όλο και περισσότερες υπηρεσίες πληροφόρησης υιοθετούν ή προσαρμόζουν θησαυρούς για την υποστήριξη της θεματικής πρόσβασης στο υλικό που διαθέτουν. Το Εθνικό Κέντρο Τεκμηρίωσης έκανε ένα πρώτο βήμα για τη δημιουργία ανάλογης υποδομής στις ελληνικές βιβλιοθήκες με την ανάπτυξη του Θησαυρού Ελληνικών Όρων. Στην παρούσα ανακοίνωση δίνεται η σύγχρονη εικόνα των θησαυρών και προσεγγίζονται ζητήματα δομής, παρουσίασης και χρήσης τους υπό το πρίσμα τόσο της εμπειρίας που αποκομίσθηκε κατά τη δημιουργία του Θησαυρού Ελληνικών Όρων, όσο και των διεθνών εξελίξεων, όπως αυτές αντικατοπτρίζονται μεταξύ άλλων στις αναθεωρήσεις των οδηγιών συγκρότησης και ανάπτυξης θησαυρών. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, μελετώνται επιμέρους λειτουργίες που είναι σήμερα τεχνικά εφικτές (όπως πλοήγηση μέσω υπερσυνδέσμων, τεχνικές αναζήτησης, επέκταση ερωτήματος, διαλειτουργικότητα) και αποσκοπούν στη βέλτιστη απόδοση ενός συστήματος ανάκτησης που βασίζεται σε θησαυρό, ανεξάρτητα από τον βαθμό εξοικείωσης του τελικού χρήστη με το σύστημα. Παράλληλα εξετάζεται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο οι λειτουργίες αυτές διαμορφώνουν, άμεσα ή έμμεσα, συγκεκριμένες μεθόδους δόμησης και παρουσίασης ενός θησαυρού.
