English abstract

From the Journal de Savans to the Philosophical Transactions to the different experiences of Steven Harnad and Paul Ginsparg, this presentations makes a brief excursus of the history and evolution of scientific communication and on the problems related to publication costs and quality assessment, living matters since the open access to scientific communication is a world burning issue.

Dal Journal de Savans alle Philosophical Transactions fino alle esperienze di Steven Harnad e Paul Ginsparg, la presentazione fa un excursus sulla storia e l'evoluzione della comunicazione scientifica, sulle problematiche legate ai costi e alla valutazione della qualità, temi di estrema attualità in un momento in cui l'accesso aperto alla comunicazione scientifica sta emergendo con forza a livello mondiale.
