English abstract

Everyday information is generated in an exponential rate and time is very short to communicate and disseminate the information to its users. The duty of the Librarian is to procure documents and organize them and disseminate the concerned information to its users. But now to provide effective service the librarians have to learn the modern technology and keep track of different sources of information available on the Internet and methods of accessing theme. Different sources of information and tools for their retrieval are described in this paper.
