Abstract(s)

The power of information and communication technology has highly affected human knowledge, skills and abilities. In the mean time, ICT development has had a great impact on educational environments, especially of higher education. It has changed teaching content and tools so that the nature and trend of education diverted from teaching to learning. While presenting a clear image of e-learning, this article opts for identifying its advantages and its place in higher education.

توانمندی های فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات بیش از هر چیز بر توسعه دانش، مهارت ها، و توانایی های انسان تأثیرگذار بوده است. در این میان، رشد و گسترش فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات بیشترین تأثیر را بر محیط های آموزشی به ویژه بخش آموزش عالی داشته است، به گونه ای که از طریق ارتقا و گسترش ابزار و محتوای آموزشی، روند آموزش را در دانشگاه ها به کلی دگرگون ساخته و ماهیت تحصیل و دانش اندوزی را از آموزش به یادگیری تبدیل کرده است. این مقاله ضمن ارائه تصویری روشن از یادگیری الکترونیکی به بررسی مزایا و ساختار این فناوری در عرصه آموزش عالی می¬پردازد
