Abstract(s)
A panorama is made of the disasters and the experiences acquired by Cuba in this area, from the perspective of the health care system. The institutions, networks and information sources of the disasters are briefly mentioned. An analysis is made of the mission and the vision of the Latin American Disaster Medicine Center, as well as the main information services and products of the Information and Documentation Center.
Se realiza una panorámica de los desastres y la experiencia de Cuba en este sector desde la perspectiva de la salud. Se reseñan brevemente las instituciones, las redes y las fuentes de información para los desastres. Se analizan la misión y la visión del Centro Latinoamericano de Medicina de Desastres; así como los principales servicios y productos de información de su Centro de Información y Documentación.
