Intellectual property is conceived as the knowledge area and branch of law that regulates the intellectual creations and its protection, focused on the study of subjective laws that exert upon objects not constituted by things, but for inmaterial items.

Se concibe la Propiedad Industrial como el área del conocimiento y la rama del Derecho que regula las creaciones intelectuales y su protección, que se ocupa del estudio de los derechos subjetivos que recaen sobre objetos que no están constituidos por cosas, sino por bienes inmateriales.
