English abstract

Ipod technology can be valuable in offering on-site tours of library services for new university students. Ipod features discussed are video, notes and text editor functions. Benefits of this delivery mechanism including dynamic interaction, pace, and user presence in the library are presented. Best practices tips are provided. Other potential ipod uses in an academic library environment are proposed.
