English abstract

It presents an strategic alliance amongst mass media, book industry and librarians to promote the reading development in public libraries. This idea is taken from the example of the Big Read program of the BBC in UK.

Se promueve una alianza estrategica entre los medios masivos de comunicacion, la industria editorial y los bibliotecarios para fomentar el desarrollo de la lectura en bibliotecas publicas. La idea parte tomando como ejemplo el programa Big Read de la BBC del Reino Unido.
