English abstract

This presentation discusses a workshop model for Teaching Assistants, Peer Mentors and tutors of the Writing Tutorial Centre at Carleton University. It was designed to help them develop skills to answer basic research questions from a variety of disciplines. The workshop can lead to better integration of instructional service and research assistance and can allow librarians to focus on in-depth questions. It can also lead to better collaboration with Faculty.
