English abstract

The Educational Guide is a mean to capture, college by college, the main academic information for the student about any subject in the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Due to a set of lacks in the former product, detected by the Industrial of Engineering School of Barcelona (ETSEIB) and by its Library, a new electronic Guide of the ETSEIB has been implemented by the Library, bringing multiple benefits both to the agents implicated in the process of feeding and managing information as well as to the final users of this complex information tool.

La Guia docent és un producte que recull, escola a escola, les principals informacions acadèmiques que l'estudiant ha de conèixer sobre qualsevol assignatura a la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Fruit d'una sèrie de necessitats entorn a aquest producte, detectades tant des de l'Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona (ETSEIB) com des de la seva Biblioteca, la Biblioteca ha implementat una nova Guia docent electrònica que ha aportat beneficis tant als actors implicats en el procés d'alimentació i gestió de la informació com als usuaris finals d'aquesta informació.
