English abstract

In this paper we analyzed the publications presented by authors from Argentine and Brazil in specialized journals in chemistry open access. We found that although the tendency to publish in these journals is increasing year by year, is still at an early stage of development.

Spanish abstract

En el presente trabajo se analizaron las publicaciones presentadas por autores de origen argentino y brasileño en revistas especializadas en química de acceso abierto. Se encontró que aunque la tendencia a publicar en estas revistas aumenta año a año, todavía se encuentra en un estadío temprano de desarrollo.
