English abstract

The 3R project is part of a UNAM's megaproject. This project consists of 4 stages: research, conceptual models, development and implementation. The project aims to create the prototype of a network of repositories of UNAM, which will allow greater use and visibility of the intellectual output of the members of the community. This technical report presents the results of the third phase of the project, Development of the system, which enables the operation of the conceptual model. It therefore proceeded to implement the software to activate a University Repository, including the analysis for the standardization of metadata and the development of a compact disc that provides the software installation.

Spanish abstract

El proyecto 3R-Red de Repositorios Universitarios de Recursos Digitales, forma parte del Macroproyecto de Tecnologías para la Universidad de la Información y la Computación. Es un proyecto que consta de 4 etapas: Investigación, Modelo Conceptual, Desarrollo e Implementación. El objetivo del proyecto está encaminado a la creación del prototipo de una red de repositorios de la UNAM, que permita mayor uso y visibilidad de la producción intelectual de los miembros de la comunidad. Este informe técnico presenta los resultados de la tercera etapa del proyecto, Desarrollo del sistema, el cual hace posible la operación del modelo conceptual. Por lo tanto se procedió a la implementación del software para activar un Repositorio Universitario, incluyendo el análisis para la normalización de los metadatos y la elaboración de un disco compacto que facilita la instalación del software.
