English abstract
This paper presents the current project in the University Carlos III Library, within its Strategic Plan, for taking advantage of the so-called Web 2.0 or Social Web tools, and thus facilitate communication not only between library and users but also users with the library.

Se presenta el proyecto que tiene en marcha la Biblioteca de la Universidad Carlos III, dentro de su Plan Estratégico, para aprovechar las herramientas de la llamada Web 2.0 ó Web social y así facilitar la comunicación no sólo de la biblioteca con los usuarios, sino también de los usuarios con la biblioteca.
