English abstract

In 2008 the Secretary of Agriculture (Argentina) celebrated 110 years. A Gazette- Conmemorative Edition – was elaborated on the occasion of this anniversary. The objective was to gather news, information about library and patrons and curious facts, extracted from institutional publications since 1898 to 2008. First, publications edited by the Secretary were searched in the library catalogue to analyze any content change. Then, selection criterion and the characteristics of the Gazette (design, periodicity, recipients, type of content) were established. The selected materials were ordered by subject categories and chronological evolution. Finally, each gazette edition was compiled and posted on the web site of the Secretary of Agriculture.

En el 2008 la Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Alimentos de la República Argentina (SAGPYA), cumplió 110 años. Con motivo de este aniversario se elaboró una Gacetilla- Edición conmemorativa. El objetivo fue reunir noticias, hechos curiosos, datos sobre la biblioteca y los lectores, utilizando como fuente las publicaciones oficiales desde 1898 hasta la fecha. Primeramente, se efectuó un relevamiento de las publicaciones editadas por la Institución a lo largo de la historia para analizar los cambios en los contenidos. Luego, se establecieron los criterios para la selección del material junto con las características de la Gacetilla (diseño, periodicidad, destinatarios, tipo de contenido). Ya separado el material de interés, se procedió a su ordenamiento de acuerdo a grandes temas y siguiendo una evolución cronológica. Por último se compaginó cada edición para ser publicado en la página web de la SAGPYA.
