English abstract

Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) at the University of Calgary passed an Open Access mandate in March and April, 2009. The mandate states that the archivists, curators, and librarians in LCR will deposit the material that results from their scholarly activities in the University of Calgary institutional repository. This short presentation covers the background to the mandate.
