English abstract

Savoie-Biblio: departmental libraries of the Savoie and Haute-Savoie redefine their territory and their model At the beginning of the year 2000, a wish to bring together the departmental libraries of Savoie and Haute-Savoie was expressed by the representatives of the two departments. A feasibility study has been the opportunity to challenge the traditional model of departmental lending libraries centred around the quarterly deposit of books with the help of the mobile library. A new model is in the process of emerging with strong central themes: advice and training, shared management of the collections and the promotion of cultural activities. The chosen legal form will permit progressive experimentation with the new model.

Savoie-Biblio : Les bibliothèques départementales de la Savoie et de la Haute-Savoie redéfinissent leur territoire et leur modèle Au début de l'année 2000, le rapprochement des bibliothèques départementales de la Savoie et de la Haute-Savoie a été souhaité par les élus des deux départements. L'étude de faisabilité a été l'occasion de remettre en cause le modèle traditionnel de bibliothèques départementales de prêt, centré autour du dépôt trimestriel de livres à l'aide de bibliobus. Un nouveau modèle est en train d'émerger, avec pour axes forts le conseil et la formation, la gestion partagée des collections et la diffusion de l'animation culturelle. La forme juridique retenue permettra l'expérimentation progressive du nouveau modèle.
