Interviews to: Li Chun, librarian in Beichuan - region destroyed by the eartquake in May 2008, and winner of the Prins Claus Fund; Ben Gu, vice-director of the National Library in Bejing; to Mauro Guerrini, president of the Italian National Committee at IFLA 2009. China is developing great collections and libraries, and copying the main publications in science, literature, economics.

Intervista a Li Chun, bibliotecaria del Beichuan, regione distrutta dal terremoto del maggio 2008, vincitrice del Prins Claus Fund; a Ben Gu, vice direttore della Biblioteca Nazionale di Pechino, e a Mauro Guerrini, presidente del Comitato nazionale italiano IFLA 2009 Milan. Grande espansione delle biblioteche cinesi a partire dagli ultimi decenni del Novecento. La Cina sta costituendo importanti biblioteche cartacee utilizzando e riproducendo per scopo interno le principali pubblicazioni di carattere letterario, economico e scientifico del mondo.
