English abstract

The main subject of this paper is the development of the OPAC´s (On Line Public Access Catalogue) Alberto Codina Library, which is specialized in Cosmetic Chemisty area. This library is unique in our country (Argentina),therefore it is very important to divulge the library´s holdings on the web. In our case, we believe that the best way to achieve that goal is using the Genisis software. This software will be analyzed in detail in our project

El siguiente trabajo se centra en la posibilidad de subir a línea el catálogo de la Biblioteca Ingeniero Alberto Codina, la que se especializa en el área de la Química Cosmética. Esta biblioteca es única en su tipo en nuestro país, por lo que creemos fundamental dar a conocer sus fondos vía Web. En nuestro caso,creemos que la mejor manera para lograr este objetivo es mediante el uso del software Genisis que pasaremos a detallar al presentar nuestro proyecto.
