English abstract

The aim of the present work was to analyse the evolution of Spanish scientific journals in the fields of experimental sciences and medicine from the viewpoint of what might be called their appeal to the national and international research community, to determine to what degree these journals are or are ceasing to be a valued or attractive channel of communication for the said researchers. To this end, we studied the changes that a sample of Spanish scientific journals have undergone over the last 40 years.

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la evolución de las revistas científicas españolas en el ámbito de las ciencias experimentales y médicas en el último medio siglo, desde el punto de vista de lo que podríamos llamar su atractivo ante la comunidad nacional e internacional de investigadores, para determinar hasta qué punto dichas revistas son o están dejando de ser un canal de comunicación valorado/atractivo para dichos investigadores. Para ello se estudian los cambios que ha experimentado una muestra de revistas científicas españolas en el curso de los últimos 40 años.
