English abstract

Bibliometric analysis of the biomechanics and Soccer using the following electronic resources: SportDiscus database, Medline and Web of Science. We compared the results obtained from treatment plants to avoid duplication and assessing the production to establish lines of action for the best international diffusion of scientific production of Biomechanics, and Soccer. The methodology used was to overturn the references in a reference manager and applying indicators of journals with more articles on biomechanics and soccer, most cited authors, growth of publications, etc.. The findings indicate that: a bibliometric analysis in the three databases is relevant, provides the appropriate and necessary items, the ease of access to research data through the Internet and knowing at any given time the state of scientific research on the topic at hand for evaluation and decision making ability.

Spanish abstract

Análisis bibliométrico de la Biomecánica y el Fútbol usando los siguientes recursos electrónicos: la base de datos SportDiscus, Medline y Web of Science. Se han comparado los resultados obtenidos, depurándolos para evitar duplicidad y evaluando la producción para establecer líneas de actuación para la mejor difusión con carácter internacional de la producción científica de la Biomecánica y el Fútbol. La metodología empleada consistió en volcar las referencias en un gestor de referencias y aplicar los indicadores de revistas con mayor número de artículos de biomecánica y fútbol, autores más citados, crecimiento de las publicaciones, etc. Las conclusiones del estudio nos indican que: el análisis bibliométrico en las tres bases de datos es pertinente, recoge los artículos adecuados y necesarios, la facilidad para el investigador en el acceso a los datos a través de Internet y el conocer en un momento dado el estado de la investigación científica en el tema que nos ocupa para su evaluación y posibilidad de toma de decisiones.
