English abstract
Presentation of the OpenOffice suite and the ODF format. The basic characteristics of OpenOffice and ODF format are presented. The need for the adoption of open-source software and open formats is discussed. Finally, an ODF case study of converting xhtml documents related to an e-learning course is presented.

Presentación de la suite ofimática OpenOffice y del formato ODF. Se describen las características principales de la suite y del formato ODF para documentos ofimáticos. Se argumenta la necesidad de adoptar aplicaciones open source y formatos abiertos. Se presenta un caso de utilización del formato ODF para transformar documentos en xhtml en el contexto de un aula digital.
