English abstract

Many information professionals have been somewhat intrigued by the arrival of e-readers in libraries. The academic library of the Université d'Angers has set from september 2008 on an experiment of loaning e-readers to its patrons. This paper describes some observations drawn from this first in France, particularly regarding how patrons, as well as librarians, have reacted to this new tool.
