English abstract
IFLA’s World Library and Information Congress is for various reasons a highly stimulating event to think libraries and other information units. This report’s aim is to share the discoveries and insights relating to IFLA’s last congress, held in Gothenburg, Sweden, in August 2010, which I attended as a grantee.

El Congreso Mundial de Bibliotecas e Información, organizado por IFLA, es por muchas razones un acontecimiento mundial estimulante para pensar las Bibliotecas y otras unidades de información.
