English abstract
This comparative study between KOHA and CDS / ISIS evaluate and place a free ILS compared to a reference point recognized by the community of developing countries. An evaluation grid, comprising of 768 specifications grouped into categories and modules, provide a analysis that can accurately identify the strengths and weaknesses of each ILS. The analysis puts into perspective the particular opportunities for collaboration that are important to libraries in developing countries.

Cette étude comparative entre KOHA et CDS/ISIS permet d’évaluer et de positionner un SIGB libre par rapport à un point de référence reconnu par la communauté des pays en développement. Une grille d’évaluation, comprenant 768 spécifications regroupées en catégories et en modules, fourni une analyse scientifique et permet d’identifier précisément les forces et les faiblesses de chaque SIGB. L’analyse met notamment en perspective les possibilités de collaboration qui sont importantes pour les bibliothèques des pays en développement.
