English abstract

We go from top to bottom through the field of Internet research: overview of the problematic, general operation of a search engine, identification of users' broad questions, choice of good keywords, semantic, terminological and lexical issues, dissection of how Google and Exalead work (choice of words, logical operators, limits, sorting of results). We then proposes a general procedure for retrieval with tactics adapted to the products, people, places, institutions, concepts, numbers, dates. We concludes with points to be analyzed in the retrieved documents and a short bibliography.

French abstract

On parcourt de haut en bas le domaine de la Recherche sur Internet: problématique d'ensemble, fonctionnement général d'un moteur de recherche, cerner son questionnement, choisir de bons mots-clés, problèmes sémantiques, terminologiques et lexicaux, dissection du fonctionnement de Google et de Exalead (choix des mots, opérateurs logiques, limites, recherches de dates, tri des résultats). On propose ensuite une procédure générale de recherche documentaire avec des tactiques adaptées aux produits, aux personnes, aux lieux, aux institutions, aux concepts, aux nombres, aux dates. On termine par les points à analyser dans les documents retrouvés et par une courte bibliographie.
